CBS Philadelphia - Joel Embiid, the center for the Sixers, revealed that he has been receiving treatment for Bell's palsy following Thursday night's
125-114 victory over the New York Knicks As the Sixers won Game 3, Embiid recorded a postseason career-high 50 points.
The 30-year-old Embiid claimed to have experienced migraines before the 76ers' NBA Play-In Tournament matchup with the Miami Heat.
The All-Star center reported having problems in his mouth, eye, and left side of his face.
He remarked, "It's pretty annoying." It's been difficult, but I have to persevere because I don't give up easily. From my perspective, it's unfortunate.
I have to keep going; it is not an acceptable justification."
In addition to wearing sunglasses indoors before to games, Embiid wore them to his postgame news conference on Thursday.
After missing two months due to a left knee injury, he is still not fully recovered.
