After taking a months-long break from social media "toxicity," Jelly Roll says she has "never felt better."

Jelly Roll explains the reason behind his social media hiatus.

The wife of the country music artist, Bunnie XO, said earlier this week on her podcast, "Dumb Blonde," that Jelly Roll has been avoiding the internet because of online bullying and weight shaming.

However, the Grammy-nominated rapper and country singer explained her prior remarks in an interview with Variety that was published on Friday, stating that he doesn't "hate social media."

My team doesn't want me to get into too much detail, so I probably shouldn't, but I don't have any issues with social media.

Additionally, bullying wasn't the only factor. The addiction to social media was just as bad as its toxicity. I was starting to get too busy to waste time.

After a few months away from social media, Jelly Roll told Variety that he has noticed improvements in his health.

"My mental state has never been better or healthier; I've never felt more composed.

I've never been more ignorant about the world's happenings, but I promise I won't be returning before the election. Horrible joke," he exclaimed.
