All the Players in the Rap Civil War: Drake vs. Everyone

Drake looks to be battling alone in the 2024 Rap Civil War against some of the genre's biggest talents.

Rozay joined the fight by posting a video of himself playing Kendrick's "Like That" verse. This surprised many because Ross and Drake have collaborated on many hip-hop hits, including DJ Khaled's “I'm On One,” Ross' “Aston Martin Music,” and “Stay Scheming.”

Metro Boomin, the mad scientist behind this Rap Civil War, feuded with Drake after excluding him from his 2022 Heroes and Villians album song “Trance”.

Drake faces Kendrick Lamar, the most important piece on the board. When these two rap heavyweights debuted, their fight was a fantasy. From Drake's 2011 Take Care "Buried Alive Interlude" to Lamar's Good Kid m.A.A.d City "Poetic Justice," they worked together.

Future and Metro gained another Drake Takedown friend in The Weeknd on “All To Myself.” Though Canadian, the singer mocked Drake and boasted about never signing up for OVO at the start of his career.

Some may find A$AP Rocky's “20 V 1” criticism of Drake surprising.

Drake and Future lost their brotherhood after We Don't Trust You last month. Many believed Future sent subliminals to his ex-partner in rhyme from the start.

The controversial rapper joined Metro Boomin, Future, and Kendrick Lamar on the remix for the Hot 100 chart-topper, “Like That,” over the weekend, adding to their animosity.
