Bulls Trade Zach LaVine for $164 Million Former MVP

Aruturas Karnisovas, executive vice president of basketball operations for the Chicago Bulls, promised to infuse fresh energy into a team that has become stale after three seasons together.

It remains to be seen how significant those adjustments will be. Notwithstanding the Bulls' absence from the playoffs, Karnisovas may have the chance to go all in during the 2024 postseason.

Karnisovas has the option to pursue Phoenix Suns player Kevin Durant, and maybe even ought to.

There may not be a better moment to strike given Durant's remarks following the Suns' sweeping of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

According to Shams Charania and Doug Haller of The Athletic on April 28, Durant felt like he was shut out of the Suns' offense at times this season and was forced to stand in the corner.

Without a genuine point guard, the Bulls would not seem to have the tools necessary to fix that. They are, however, prepared for a player such as Durant.

And in Zach LaVine, a two-time All-Star, the Bulls have a ready-made trade asset.

Both sides may be satisfied with this possible trade offer as they attempt to move beyond poor seasons.
