C.J. Mosley Believes Jets Playoff Chances are Strong in 2022

Making the playoffs feels like wishful thinking for the Jets, who have missed out on the postseason in the previous ten seasons and finished last in the AFC East six of the last eight.

The Jets' chances appear to be getting better with each fresh wave of talent that is being brought in.

"My expectation is to make it to the playoffs or fail," Mosley tells Mark Inabinnett of Al.com.

"It's my goal every year, obviously, but I think it's something our coaches and our entire team can realistically aim for."

Under new coach Robert Salah, the Jets finished 4-13 in the previous campaign. To put it mildly, it was a poor season.

However, the squad is eager for the upcoming season because of the addition of Sauce Gardner, Garret Wilson, and Jermaine Johnson II to its roster.

Mosley says he is optimistic because the main actors know each other and the plan well. "Last year, everyone was kind of learning each other and the system," he says. He thinks that, in comparison, everyone is two steps ahead this year.

The playbook is known to the players, and they don't routinely seek the coaches for assistance.
