Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever Teammate Had Such a Perfect Quote About Rookie Superstar’s Impact

Forward NaLyssa Smith, who is in her third year with the Indiana Fever, is excited about the next season because of the addition of Caitlin Clark to the team.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will host the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association this season.

The Fever have not had a winning season or advanced to the playoffs since 2016. That was also the case in the past,

but the club relocated to the far more modest Indiana Farmers Coliseum, a gym that had originally opened in 1939, at the beginning of the 2021 season.

When asked about the dramatic uptick in interest and media attention compared to the last two seasons,

Smith said she hadn't seen anything. Clark is preparing to make her WNBA debut in 2024, and she has the ideal remark to capture the WNBA's and her team's ascent to new heights.

“A big change,” Smith remarked. There was this time when we would play in a barn. Six of our fans would gather in a barn for our games.

Now our games are selling out, and our opponents are relocating to larger arenas just to see us play. For us, this year is going to be absolutely monumental.
