Christina Applegate Fighting 30 Brain Lesions During MS Pain
The Dead to Me star vividly described her recent battle of sapovirus, a fecal-oral infection, saying it left her "pissing out of my ass for a few days."
"I'm gonna be gross," Christina, who has multiple sclerosis, said on her April 23 MeSsy podcast. "I woke up in s--t at 3 a.m.
It happened without my knowledge, and changing bedding at 3 a.m. with MS is not fun."
Christina says she contracted COVID-19 for the first time a few weeks ago when someone "real close" "dropped the ball" and took it home. Due to her weakened MS state, Christina had a chest infection and a racing heart.
"I was so dizzy," she told cohost Jamie-Lynn Sigler. "I was ill. I couldn'eat. I was powerless."
Christina vomited after a stool test to diagnose her condition because it was "so gross". She got sapovirus.
