Green Bay Packers Interested in Maxx Crosby-Esque Pass-Rusher.

The Green Bay Packers need another edge rusher, and they appear to be intrigued in a prospect who has been compared to Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby.  

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, the Packers have previously met with University of Kansas pass rusher Austin Booker, who has already visited several other clubs.  

Green Bay would almost certainly not contemplate picking Booker with the 25th overall pick, but he might be selected on Day 2 of the NFL Draft later this month.  

Booker is coming off an excellent 2023 season in which he recorded 56 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and a number of forced turnovers.  

The Greenwood, Indiana native began his college career at Minnesota, where he spent two years before transferring to Kansas due to a lack of playing time.  

It turned out to be an excellent decision for Booker, as he had a fantastic year in his only season with the Jayhawks to boost his draft prospects.
