How to Make a Jack Frost Cocktail Recipe

2 ounces of white rum. 1 1/2 ounces of pineapple juice 1 ounce of blue Curaçao

1 ounce of canned coconut cream or coconut milk. 1/4 ounce simple syrup, plus more for rimming the glass. Unsweetened shredded coconut, finely chopped

During the holidays, a Jack Frost drink is the ideal beverage to enjoy, especially when paired with coconut rum balls or rum brickle nibbles. It tastes like the beach,

ut it looks wintry with its icy blue hue and fluffy coconut rim. It's exactly what you would call a tropical heat wave in December! A playful take on the traditional pina colada, this is made with white rum, blue curaçao pineapple, and coconut.

Don't be afraid if this is your first time purchasing blue curaçao; there are a ton of applications for it. I enjoy making blended blue lagoon margaritas or Caribbean blue margaritas.

In a partially iced cocktail shaker, combine the rum, pineapple juice, blue curaçao, coconut cream, and simple syrup. Secure the cocktail shaker lid and shake rapidly for 20 seconds until the cocktail has chilled.

Dip the rim of a rocks glass in simple syrup, then coat it in crushed coconut. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
