“I Already Regret That Song” (J. Cole ft. Kendrick Lamar)

J. Cole regretted releasing a Kendrick Lamar diss tune during their continuing battle.

On Sunday, two days after releasing his new album “Might Delete Later,” Cole apologized for “7 Minute Drill” in front of Dreamville Festivalgoers in social media videos.

He said, “I’m so proud of (‘Might Delete Later’), except for one part.”

It's one part of that sh*t that makes me feel like, man, that's the lamest sh*t I did in my f**king life, right?”

He said, "I almost had a relapse..." I won't lie. The last two days have been awful. It showed me how well I've slept for 10 years."

Cole mocked Lamar with lyrics like “He averagin’ one hard verse like every 30 months or somethin’” and “He still doin’ shows, but fell off like the Simpsons.”

Drake and J. Cole's song "First Person Shooter," in which they claimed to be hip-hop's "big three" with Lamar, escalated their longstanding feud last October.

In March, Lamar responded to that in a verse of Future and Metro Boomin's “Like That,” saying there was no big three, “just big me.”
