I traded in my MacBook and now I’m a desktop convert

I had a Captain Picard-worthy quadruple facepalm when the M3 MacBook Airs debuted last month. Sort of, the wedge shape disappeared.

My M2 MacBook Air 15 was too huge, heavy, and 8GB of RAM was insufficient, despite what others say.

Comparing MacBook Air and MacBook Pro specifications and costs hurt my skull. Thinking about carrying a heavier laptop hurt my back.

So I said, "Screw it." Reverting to desktop life.” I swapped my M2 Air for a Mac Min

It made sense. My work-issued M1 MacBook Air is a lightweight wedge that's perfect for infrequent business travels.

My phone is used for everything except writing and big-screen work like spreadsheets and research at home.

I had an external mouse, keyboard, and monitor. I was already using my laptop as a desktop.

But I last had a desktop in 2001. Over 23 years, I lost a lot about desktop life, such how peripherals are a necessary, not a good option. Mac setup can be difficult without Apple's Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse.
