Is Ezekiel Elliott Wanting to Join the Patriots Again in 2024?

Ezekiel Elliott, a running back in the Pro Bowl, has established himself as the New England Patriots' number-two back. Is he intending to stay in this role past the 2023 season, though?

Elliott was asked if he would be interested in returning for the 2024 season during a media conference on Wednesday.

Elliott expressed his interest in the notion, saying he's liked the experience and loves the city in addition to being teammates with No. 1 running back Rhamondre Stevenson.

"Overall, it's been a positive experience. Playing with Rhamondre is so much fun. This crew has my undying love. I adore this city. Thus, I believe I'd be receptive to it," Elliott stated.

This season, Elliott has amassed over 700 yards from scrimmage and 497 yards from rushing. In both categories, he trails Stevenson in the team standings.

For a player who was among the league's top three running backs, it's a bit of a fall from grace.

However, he may not have had the kind of opportunities to start for a team he genuinely liked in the league.

It appears that Elliott is content with his current NFL position. Even though he might not make the Pro Bowl again, he might be significantly extending his career.
