Jason Kelce lost Super Bowl LII ring in pool of Skyline chili

While the Philadelphia Eagles' journey to Super Bowl LII will live on forever, Jason Kelce has misplaced a priceless piece of winning memorabilia.

Kelce disclosed on his "New Heights" podcast that he had lost his Super Bowl ring in a peculiar way.

The Great Lombaby Games were hosted by Kelce and his brother Travis at the University of Cincinnati.

The intellectual and athletic competition featured a game in which participants dived into pools of Skyline chili.

Regretfully, Kelce discovered that competitors weren't the only ones dipping into the chili. According to Kelce, his ring is lost forever when he dropped it into one of the pools.

"I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event," stated Kelce. "They were unable to locate it. We haven't found it yet.

Since everything has since been disposed of, I believe it is reasonable to suppose that my Super Bowl ring is currently at a landfill in the Cincinnati tri-state area. That is not what I anticipated happening."

Kelce did mention that he's already begun the process of replacing the ring that was covered with chili powder. It is another matter entirely whether the insurance company pays for the loss.
