Jim Parsons Reprises Big Bang's Sheldon Ahead of Young Sheldon Series Finale

In a TikTok promoting the Big Bang Theory prequel's release on the video site, Jim Parsons helps series star Iain Armitage test out a "new filter."

According to Armitage, "it seems like there's a new filter that shows you what it looks like when you grow up."

“Let me try it out; I don’t know how accurate it will be.”

Then Parsons taps his screen as if to evaluate the outcome. He begins, "Hmm, I'm not sure about this," then admits that he and his 14-year-old counterpart don't sound at all alike:

"Oh! It also modifies your voice. It doesn't appeal to me.

As previously announced, on Thursday, May 16 (CBS, 8/7c)—exactly five years to the day after Big Bang concluded in 2019—Parsons and Mayim Bialik will return to their respective roles as Drs. Sheldon

Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler in the Young Sheldon series finale. It will also be the first time that any cast member from Big Bang will make an in-person appearance on television

the hugely popular spinoff. This will be Parsons and Bialik's first appearance together on Young Sheldon.
