Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status Revealed During NBA Play-In

Superstar forward Jimmy Butler has been ruled out of Friday night's NBA Eastern Conference Play-In game against the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat confirmed on Thursday afternoon.

Late in the game on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, Butler sprained his right MCL.

Following his appearance, his admirers were worried because he appeared to be walking quite hobbling.

Due to a neck injury, heat guard Terry Rozier is also out of tomorrow's game, which means the squad will be missing two important starters.

The announcement was shared online via the Miami Heat's official social media account.

"INJURY UPDATE: Jimmy Butler (right MCL sprain) and Terry Rozier (neck) have both been ruled out of tomorrow night’s play-in game vs the Bulls."

Butler scored 19 points on 5/18 shooting in a 105-104 loss against the 76ers.

The Heat-Bulls winner tomorrow will play the Boston Celtics in the NBA Playoffs' opening round.
