Jordan Love's First Year as Packers' QB Matches or Beats Aaron Rodgers'

Jordan Love's progress was questioned of Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst during the summer just before Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets.

"He must play. Without a doubt, he must play, according to Gutekunst.

That, in my opinion, is the next development for him. I believe he's prepared for that.

"Not every quarterback is prepared to play when they enter this league.

Although we've seen over the last year and a half that's the next step in his evolution, I still believe he needs more time.

He must go play outside. Gutekunst was exactly right.

Love has been the best player for the Packers this season, not just when he has played.

With two weeks left in the regular season, Green Bay, the NFL's youngest club, is still in the running for the playoffs, and Love is the biggest reason for that.
