Like most individuals, I have memories connected to specific cuisines. I have always looked forward to delicious things in my life, ever since I can remember.
It's likely that you've noticed that this site has a lot of my low-carb dessert recipes. As you can see,
switching to a low-carb diet doesn't require you to give up sweets!
But after giving up sugar for years, I no longer enjoy dishes that are very sweet. As a result,
I no longer have as much of a sweet appetite and my current desserts are not as sweet as they were when I followed a high-carb diet.
I have certain desserts that remind me of the past, like this no-bake banana split cheesecake.
Instead of being a typical birthday cake, the no-bake banana split cake cheesecake she brought in was more of a no-bake cheesecake.
I loved it, but so did everyone else.
Now that I've made a low-carb version of that cheesecake, I can honestly tell that it tastes just as good, if not better!
