--Michael Jordan taking notice of young NBA star--

A certain All-Time Great was watching Anthony Edwards' coming-out celebration against the Suns in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs last Saturday, along with the rest of us.

Michael Jordan watched intently as Edwards scored 33 points while taunting Kevin Durant and the Suns, according to NBA

Malika Andrews disclosed that "His Airness" had spoken with colleagues Michael Wilbon and Stephen

"A certain player who's regarded as the greatest to ever do it placed a phone call into this studio last weekend," Andrews stated.

"You know what? " he said to Wilbon and Smith. I think this kid is cute, and some of the parallels might not be that strong.

Smith discussed the discussion on ESPN's "First Take" earlier on Monday as well.

"We ask each other, 'Hey, you see this?'" "That brother is special, no question about it," Michael Jordan said

Edwards is averaging 28.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists through his first 12 playoff games. Jordan averaged 38.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists through his first 12 playoff outings for the Bulls.
