Morgan Wallen followers are 'not surprised' by the arrest, only 'hoping he wouldn't cancel again' at Ole Miss.

OXFORD, Mississippi, April 20– Morgan Wallen made supporters pleased when he took the stage at Ole Miss' Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, on Saturday night, two weeks after being arrested in Nashville and a year after a last-minute canceled show.

Fox News Digital spoke with concertgoers before of the show, and many of them weren't bothered by Wallen's reported chair-throwing incident."Honestly, I kind of expected it," said Katelyn, an Ole Miss student from New Orleans, about Wallen's arrest.

Molly, an 18-year-old from Mississippi, said, "He just let that liquor talk, just like the song said," referring to Wallen's smash single "Last Night." Andi, an Ole Miss freshman, said, "I feel like it's just kind of his personality a little bit."

Priscillia, a Memphis supporter, commented, "That's kind of Morgan Wallen behavior." Justin, also from Memphis, said, "He's a rebel."

On April 7, the Metro Nashville Police Department charged Wallen, 30, with three felony counts after a chair he reportedly tossed off the roof of the six-story Chief's club landed on Broadway near two police officers.

"I thought it was pretty funny, not gonna lie," said one Wallen fan. Her buddy added, "I didn't think it was that insane. Nobody was wounded."

Jimmy, a fan from Albuquerque, New Mexico, said, "He's young, he's got a lot to learn, and hopefully he does learn from it," adding that he was "disappointed," but "luckily no one got hurt."

He went on to say, "I think as long as he apologizes to the guys who wear the uniform, he's good with me." Wallen did take to X, formerly Twitter, to apologize for his acts.

"I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks," Wallen posted on social media. "I've contacted Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the friendly staff at Chief's."

"Everybody makes errors, separate the music from the performer," fan Katelyn stated, and her companion Arianna agreed, "We say it all the time. "Music, artist, different things."

"He probably deserves something," Justin explained. "No one's above the law." Many others were more concerned about whether or not he will attend the show.

"There's definitely stuff, but like, I just love his music," she added. "I'm not excusing what he has done, but I still like his music, I'm still going to come see him."

"Please cancel tonight. If he cancels tonight again, I will never spend another penny on Morgan Wallen," Katelyn said before entering the show.
