Nationals stunned by Shohei Ohtani's 118 mph home run

The Dodgers designated hitter is hitting more HRs.

On Tuesday night, Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani unleashed a massive bomb at Nationals Park that left fans and colleagues in awe.

Ohtani, known for his rocket shot, hit a solo homer off Nationals pitcher Jacob Barnes

cementing his standing as one of baseball's most electric talents.

The Japanese's four-baseer in the ninth inning, with the Dodgers leading 3-1, capped LA's triumphant Tuesday night in the nation's capital.

It was the hardest-hit ball of the 2024 season because Ohtani's swing launched it at 118.7 mph.

Dodgers center fielder James Outman described the ball's flight as a "cruise missile."

"That was ridiculous. That was crazy," Outman said, echoing many who witnessed Ohtani's power show.
