NFL News: Chiefs GM Identifies Best Weapon for Patrick Mahomes in 2024

Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach did not hesitate to name the greatest wide receiver on the squad to assist Patrick Mahomes maintain his success.  

More than two months after Super Bowl LVIII, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are already considering the 2024 NFL season.  

The defending champions are clearly the team to watch moving into next season  

and many are curious what to anticipate when they return to the gridiron.  

One of the most pressing problems for the squad is about the WR room, which produced incredibly low numbers in 2023 despite the ring.   

Kadarius Toney received a lot of criticism for his efforts last season, but Chiefs general manager Brett Veach feels there is no one better at the position.  

"He is probably our most talented wideout now," Veach told ESPN. "It doesn't do anyone any good until they stay healthy.   

Toney battled with injuries, drops, and other blunders in a season when only rookie wideout Rashee Rice appeared to be Mahomes' reliable target.
