Nick Carter, Aaron Carter Controversies in ID Docuseries 'Fallen Idols'

The most recent high-profile documentary series on Investigation Discovery will focus on Nick Carter, a member of the Backstreet Boys, and Aaron Carter,

his late brother, as well as the scandals and accusations that surrounded them. Following the smash hit "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," ID and its sister streaming service Max will co-host the four-part documentary series "Fallen Idol

Nick and Aaron Carter" for two consecutive evenings, May 27 and 28, at 9 p.m. ET.

Specifically, the show will delve into the three women's allegations of sexual assault against Nick Carter and examine Aaron Carter's (Nick's younger brother) battles with mental illness and drug misuse that ultimately led to his death in 2022.

Aaron Carter's criticism of Nick Carter and support for his accusers changed the dynamic of their brotherly relationship, which "Fallen Idols" will examine.

On "Fallen Idols," we hear from three women who have accused Nick Carter of sexually assaulting them: Melissa Schuman,

Ashley Repp, and Shannon "Shay" Ruth. Along with pals like Aaron Carter's former fiancée Melanie Martin and Nick Carter's ex-girlfriend Kaya Jones, an unidentified "member of the Carter family" is also questioned.

Nick and Aaron Carter's Fall The series "not only provides a deeper understanding of the allegations, but also chronicles Nick's accusers' intense backlash since speaking publicly and its lasting impact on their lives,"
