Olivia Dunne beams with joy as LSU gymnastics earn a spot in the championship: "Final 4 bound"

A lot more work remains for Olivia Dunne and the Lady Tigers.

At Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, the LSU gymnastics team posted a score of 198.1125, the second-highest for the school at the NCAA Championships.

As a result of their dominating performance, they will be competing in Saturday's final.

Video captures Dunne warming up with teammates, but she did not compete.All-around score leader Haleigh Bryant of LSU was 39.7125.

On Thursday, the 21-year-old Dunne announced in an Instagram Story, "Final 4 bound!" beside a purple heart and ring emoji.

When it comes time for the title game, LSU will go off against Florida, Utah, and California.

Naturally, we couldn't be happier to be returning to the finals for the second year running.  Just getting to this point is always fun.

The program's website reports that Tigers head coach Jay Clark expressed his pride in the team's performance throughout the year.
