Olivia Munn details breast cancer diagnosis

In an exclusive interview published on Wednesday by People magazine,

Munn discussed her health journey and the "terrifying" fears she had while openly acknowledging the support she had received from her partner, comedian John Mulaney.

According to what Munn told the group, cancer doesn't care about your identity, whether you're a parent or not, or how much time you have.

The only way to deal with it is to confront it directly as it approaches.

Munn, who is a mother to her 2-year-old son Malcolm with Mulaney,

received the diagnosis just weeks before filming a new science fiction picture in Germany was to begin.

The actress told the site, "Having a little baby at home made everything much more terrifying.

She went on to say that she was not someone who worried about death or was terrified of it in any way.
