Rihanna's "Diamonds" Is Now a Diamond-Certified Album, Officially!

She has three certified songs, after her 2010 "Love the Way You Lie" with Eminem and 2011 "We Found Love" with Calvin Harris.

“Diamonds” by Rihanna earned diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on Monday (April 22).

On Monday morning, Roc Nation revealed via X that the track achieved 10 million equivalent song units.

The RIAA defines an equivalent song unit as one digital song sale or 150 on-demand audio/video streaming.

This is Rihanna's third diamond song, following her 2010 “Love the Way You Lie” with Eminem (certified on May 9, 2013) and 2011 “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris (certified on April 27, 2023).

Rihanna's 2012 seventh studio album Unapologetic, nominated for a 2014 Grammy for best urban contemporary album, featured “Diamonds” as its lead single.

She spent three weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her 12th No. 1 song.

The song topped Billboard's Dance Club Songs (1 week), Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (14 weeks), and Rhythmic Airplay (10 weeks).
