Jonathan Owens married Simone Biles! The couple married at Houston's Harris County Courthouse on April 22, 2023. They had another wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, weeks later.
In March 2020, the Olympic gymnast and Chicago Bears player met after initially meeting months earlier.
Biles recalled being invited to lead the Houston Texans out of the tunnel at a December 2019 home football game in January 2022. Her images from that day showed Owens in the background.

Biles initiated the relationship on Raya in March 2020, despite their near encounter at the 2019 Texans game.
"He would say I slid into his DMs," the gymnast told the WSJ. "I saw him and I was like, 'Oh, he's pretty cute,' so I said hi ... and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later."
Owens wasn't familiar with Biles, despite their fame. "I didn't know who she was," he told Texas Monthly June 2021. "I hadn't heard of her, and she liked that when I told her.
The fact that Biles and Owens met at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic allowed them to spend a lot of time together during their time off, a luxury those athletes rarely enjoy.
