Stephen A. Smith accuses NFL franchise of making racist hires.

Stephen A. Smith is dissatisfied with the Washington Commanders' hiring choice on Monday.

The Commanders have hired Kliff Kingsbury, the former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, as their offensive coordinator.

Kingsbury previously served as head coach at Texas Tech and assistant coach at USC.However, Smith argues that there are racial issues at play here.

According to the longtime ESPN broadcaster, Kingsbury's whiteness allows him to acquire more employment.

"We talk about diversity, and we've seen black coaches appointed and all that stuff. That is not where I am going. I'm arguing that historically,

when we look at someone like Kliff Kingsbury, what do we see as black people? "This is the kind of stuff that does not happen to black people," Smith remarked on Monday.

He went on to say, "It doesn't seem to me there are bonafide football reasons as to why Kliff Kingsbury is the new offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders.

"It's understandable to believe that Black coaches are not given equal opportunity, at least at times. But there are further motivations for Kingsbury's hiring.
