Taylor Swift Reveals ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Music Video Release Schedule

In preparation for the release of The Tortured Poets Department, her eleventh studio album, Taylor Swift is providing an inside look at her master plan.

The album will be released on Friday, April 19, and Swift, 34, shared a promotional video for it on social media on Tuesday, April 16.

The video began in a room that was reminiscent of the Midnights and decorated with items from the 1970s, including records, crumbled paper, and a clock that read 2:00.

After that, the teaser took viewers down an entirely white hallway and into a room called "The Tortured Poets Department," where vacant desks held two typewriters and mugs of coffee.

The scene cut to the bulletin board on the wall, where the words "The Tortured Poets Department Release Day" and April 19 were starred.

A message underneath said, "8 p.m. ET. Music video release?" and fourteen cuts. Swift captioned the Instagram photo with the phrase "The TTPD Timetable."

After revealing a pop-up library in Los Angeles earlier in the day, Swift's video is the second significant hint she revealed on Tuesday.

The pop star and Spotify collaborated to build a fan-only outdoor library at The Grove, which is available daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Thursday, April 18.
