The singer, who recently released her album Tortured Poets Department on April 19, is not showing up to fashion's biggest night, despite rumors that she would be there.

Rather, she will be devoting her time to tour preparation and rehearsals in front of her upcoming Eras Tour, which will resume in Paris on May 9 and take her around Europe in the spring and summer.

The 34-year-old Swift would have had a tight squeeze ahead of her tour because the Met Gala, which is typically held on the first Monday in May, is scheduled for May 6.

Swift and her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, were earlier rumored by TMZ to be missing this year's Met Gala.
