Still, Gunn's Superman film will include a number of well-known DC characters, such as Merced's Hawkgirl.
Merced was asked to provide an update on her Superman filming experience during a recent interview with Screen Rant, where she was promoting her new Max feature Turtles All The Way Down.
Merced expressed her enthusiasm about working alongside Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, even though she couldn't give away any details.
