The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies thanks to the play of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.  

The Los Angeles Lakers prevailed against the Memphis Grizzlies in a nail-biter thanks to a 73-point performance by LeBron James and Anthony Davis.   

The victory propelled the Lakers to the eighth seed in the Western Conference, setting them up for a run at the playoffs.  

James scored 37 points to display his scoring prowess, and Davis contributed 36 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double.   

The Lakers' offensive effort, which included 14 points from Rui Hachimura, helped them end a two-game losing streak.  

In spite of the Lakers' star power, the game was close throughout due to the Grizzlies' youthful grit and determination.  

GG Jackson scored 31 points to lead Memphis, while Scotty Pippen Jr.   

A remarkable performance by Jordan Goodwin—23 points and 17 rebounds—also contributed to the team's success.  

A 12-3 run gave the Grizzlies an 89-80 advantage in the third quarter. The Lakers rallied to enter into the fourth quarter with a small lead.
