The Most Dangerous Biker Gangs in America

The United States' law enforcement agencies have faced persistent challenges from outlaw motorcycle gangs since the 1960s.

Today, these violent organizations commit crimes on both coasts and in the heartland.

“One-percenter” motorcycle clubs—named because the American Motorcyclist Association claims 99 percent of motorcyclists ,,,

are law-abiding—traffic drugs across borders and commit contracts, murder, and petty theft.

Outlaw bikers are mythologized in cinema, TV, and literature due to their prominence in the American underworld.

Thompson's Hell's Angels revealed the gangs' brutality, and Sons of Anarchy revived interest in the subculture.

Mongols, Pagans, and Bandidos, together with the Hells Angels, operate today.

Two high-ranking Pagans were recently charged with federal crimes for beating a Hells Angels suspect.

Even after 20 Pagans members were captured and pleaded guilty to racketeering, reports circulated in March 2022 that the gang was expanding to New York City.

A May 2022 Massachusetts biker brawl with dozens of participants injured seven.

It was at a gang clubhouse. Other occurrences, like a 2015 gun battle between hundreds of motorcyclists at a Waco, Texas, restaurant that killed nine and injured 18, show that the gangs are violent and here to stay.

Despite arrests and takedowns, biker gangs are alive and strong. Today's most dangerous American clothes are listed below.
