What might happen in the second half of 'Outlander' season 7, based on the books

The season's ninth episode, "Unfinished Business," picks up where Part 1 left off, and the final episode, "A Hundred Thousand Angels:"

and his time-traveling wife Claire (Caitrona Balfe), who were seen returning to Scotland in the midseason finale. 

As for the rest of season seven, it has been confirmed that the episodes will follow the events of Diana Gabaldon's seventh and eighth "Outlander" novels.

The first eight episodes covered events from the sixth "Outlander" book, "A Breath of Snow and Ashes," as well as some from the seventh, "An Echo in the Bone."
