Will There Be An 'Unlocked: A Jail Experiment' Season 2?

Do not sleep on number two on Netflix's global Top 10 TV show list; it's presently reigning at the top, created by the same people who bring you Game of Thrones, 3 Body Problem.

That slot would be occupied by Unlocked: A Jail Experiment, a reality TV show that follows people both inside and outside of prisons; the name alone would make it sound like a gloomy venture.

But from a sociological as well as an entertainment standpoint, the show has been a hit.

In the eight episodes that make up the first season, a top cop in Arkansas decides to let everyone in—aside from while they're sleeping—and see what happens.

Since the inmates did manage to form a feeling of community, what follows implies that rehabilitation is a possible result. Of course, not every prison would end up like this, but it does raise the question...

While Netflix has not stated otherwise, they are likely to continue the series if streaming views remain strong; nonetheless,

there may be legal complications with doing so. Officials are seeking answers from Sheriff Jeff Higgins over concerns, as reported by the local Fox affiliate and Forbes

There was a reason why the Netflix reality show "Unlocked: A Jail Experiment" garnered so much interest. Will there be a season two?
