Zendaya responds to ‘weird’ questions about kissing Challengers co-star

In a new interview, Zendaya addressed the perceived increased media interest in her kissing co-stars onscreen.  

The actor will soon appear in the highly anticipated romance drama Challengers, playing a professional tennis player-turned-coach who is the center of a love triangle between two friends and sporting rivals,  

Zendaya, 27, was asked for her thoughts on people asking her about kissing and intimacy with her co-stars more than they would other actors.  

"I feel like, when you do it, there is an abnormal amount of attention paid to it," entertainment journalist Jake Hamilton observed, to which the Euphoria star said, "I know, it's very odd."  

"Do you believe that, as a society, people have forgotten that an actor kissing another actor is essentially part of their job?  

Zendaya instantly responded: "I have no idea. I am not sure if it is because they want it to become viral. But I've noticed that with myself specifically.  

"I feel like other actors don't--if it were someone else here, you probably wouldn't have asked that question." But, yes, it is a part of my profession,
